Hi all,

I've read all about the hatching of Corydora eggs and such (Artificial method; small cup, aerator, etc.) but was just wondering how long it takes for viable eggs to turn from white to tanish so I can separate the non-viable/viable ones? I've read anywhere from 12 hours to 3 days.... just wanted to see if anyone had any other opinions. Thanks!

Matt

I left all mine together. once you can see wigglers is when I started cleaning up.

I never remove eggs unless they get fuzzy. I'd just leave them and keep and eye on things.

Typically twelve to eighteen hours in my experience. Once I see them and get them set up I usually wait until the same time next day to check. I find it's easier to tell if you look down from the top of the tank to see the difference in coloration. Good luck!
