I have 2 female and 2 male Boesmani. Plus other fish. Over the last few weeks I have seen off behavior. One male chasing another. " dates" with 2 Boesmani. Now I think one of my females is pregnant. I am totally not set up for babies.
If she lays eggs, will my other fish eat them? I am just not sure what to do. Doubt I can get a nursery cycled in time. I feel bad wanting to let nature take its course and if babies get eaten then they get eaten. It just seems mean to me.
If I decide to set up a nursery, how big should it be? Do I take mom and babies out, or just babies? Or dad and babies?
Any advice appreciated. I feel like I have lots if stupid questions. So tanks in advance.
