Lately, I've noticed some mild agression from my boesaumi rainbow towards my blue gourami. Yesterday, I found the rainbow chasing the blue gourami and "vibrating" beside it. Twitching its head and tail for about 5 seconds at a time. I think the poor gourami is very confuzed, and just runs away. The rainbow follows and repeats.
Its kind of like pepe lapuew (the skunk from looney tunes?) and the cat with a stripe. This behaviour.... Since there was no eggs, it it safe to assume that my gourami is a guy? It is a community tank with moderate current. If i were to get some fully grown Boesaumi's for him, do you think i would have a decent chance at breeding them? I have a "net" breeder i used to use back in the day for guppies.
