Red Gourami making nest?

My Red Gourami is taking black hair algae from my plants and keeps putting it in the top corner of my tank. What gives?

It goes to the top of the tank, moves its mouth a bunch and expels bubbles under the algae in the corner. I only have one in my tank. It's supposed to be a male.

It sounds like he is trying to build a bubble nest. He must me a happy, safe feeling fish.

There is no female Gourami in my tank. Do I just leave it alone? Won't my water changes mess up the nest?

That is a nice little nest he has going there!
Water changes will disrupt, but he will rebuild it just fine if he wants to. No biggie!
