Setting up a Breeding Program
We are interested in setting up a breeding program with our fish that we have in stock right now. Plus we are going to bring in a few more fish to pair up with our newbies that have arrived once they are adult size.
Here are my questions: Does anyone do line breeding? Has it been successful and when do you introduce a new male/female into your line to strengthen it or give different color? Have you been successful in getting different color Mollies to breed with other Mollies? Like a black Molly with a white Molly or a white Molly with an Orange Molly? Are there any female Guppies with colors? Would you suggest I purchase some Show female Guppies to bring color into the female part of our breeding program? Right now we have black finned female Guppies. These are just a few of the questions that I have looking forward to any responses. Thanks.

I have dalmation/silver cross mollies, though so far only my silver females have given birth, still waiting on my dalmation ones, but my dominant male is my dalmation one, not the silver, but more are completely white and some have spots. They don't really care what color lol I just adore my females that have lyre tails but my favorites are the ones with black blotches from Slider ^^

Anytime ^^ I'll let you know what the babies look like when my dalmations give birth cuz one's almost fully black...I swear it's black with white spots...and so is my male, so we'll just have to see how it comes out ^^

Thank you for the response. I would love to see what your babies end up looking like. We are now looking into finding a good pair or trio of Mollies to add to our Program.
