Hi there i have just bought a bosemani rainbow to start breeding eventually, but im not sure if i got a female. Here's how to do it, look at the dorsal fin. If the front overlaps the back it's a male. If it doesn't it's a female. Another way is by color, if the front is really blue and the back is really orange. It's a male. If the colors are more silver in the front it's most likely a female. If you need some pictures let me know and I'll show you some.
