Snails breeding?

I've caught my snails doing this multiple times. I have yet to see any eggs. My water is always below the top of my tank so they have room to lay them

Here are the pix. One of the pix the snail was like squishing sand through his foot. I've never seem him















do that before

Anyone? I researched a little but didn't really find whatI was looking for

My gold mystery snails have been doing that for a while and I also have not noticed any babies. I guess when times are right, it will lay the eggs.

Apple snails can hold sperm for months. When they feel it is safe or they are comfortable they will then lay eggs above the water.
