so thinking of breeding apistos!

ok so im getting some double red apistos from severum mama and wanna know what all ill need. will a 5 gallon or 10 gallon (both i could use) be sufficiant for raising fry?

You should be able to get them to a decent size in a ten gallon. Good luck with the new fish. I love apistos.

Get some frozen bloodworms. I got my pair of triple reds from them about 2 weeks ago. They came in looking very awesome, and immediately began acting like they were going to spawn. I'm not sure if it was coincidence or not, but about a week afterwards, I fed them some frozen bloodworms and they spawned the next day. You'll love em for sure.

Considering you can get 10g tanks at walmart for $12, and the fact that those would just be very impractical, I'd suggest looking for something else.
