I'd bet the answer is yes, he will drop soon. Good luck with the fry. You likely need to get them out of there is they are to live.

ya I have a breeder tank set up and ready for these moments. I thought about moving mom but i have enough hiding places for the lil ones until i can catch them and move them.

An easy way to give the fry a hiding place is a giant wad of filter floss. They are small enough to swim through it but mom can't. That's what I do in my breeder box. Works great
