Think she will drop soon?

I noticed this guppy frantically gasping at air for a long time at the top of my tank. Is that a sign of getting ready to give birth? I've never seen them act that way & I've never gotten to witness a guppy birth before. So just wondering if you've seen this behavior before birth? She looks large & square to me too.

The gravid spot does not look dark and beside that, the spine looks to be bent. I'll let someone else chime in regarding that because I'm not too familiar with it.

She looks the same size as mine. I am think of moving mine today but problem being my 10 gallon breeder is down ATM and the hatchery is full! I would expect her to give birth in 1-4 days.

It's hard to say. I know my female guppies gravid spot almost goes clear when lights output your guppy is huge. I would say in 1-3 days. Just keep well fed try bloodworms and u find mine drop when the lights are off

IMO she doesn't look quite squared off yet, just have patience. Mine always drop when I least expect it.
