Well now I know....
It's been a while since my last Bolivians spawning, and I think it's all because of the big male bully. The last time I moved him back to the 75G, she finally spawned. So, since it's been so long, I decided to move him back to the 75G again. Now the 2 lovebirds are together in their driftwood cave. Let's see if she will now spawn again. If so, the big guy stays in the 75G from now on.
Edit: Well, now they are playing shy, lol. She's hiding behind the driftwood, and he's back in the corner. Go figure, lol. Edit: Made another change to get them out more. Added some dither fish. Got some Cardinal Tetras, Serpae Tetras, Bleeding Heart Tetras, and Blue Flame Tetras. Now they are out and about.

Hopefully it will work out Wolf. An aggressive male can wreak havoc on a tank that's for sure.

LOL, I think I have too many tetras now, lol. Will give it time, but I might move the Serpae's to my 75G with the other Serpae's. And then to decide on which other tetra to move, lol. Could move the Cardinals with my other cardinals in my 26G. But I love how they light up under the blue LED moon lights, lol.

that is a lot of tetras. I only have neons (no, not with the angels, I know better), lemons, black neons, and I think that is actually it. The rest of what I have is livebearers (platies, swordtails, mollies, and guppies), bettas, cories, CAE's, clown loaches, and barbs.
I have a problem.....8 tanks, want another 55 to keep oscars, but don't have the room right now...one day.... |

thats nice!! That is how I made room for my 2 20g and my 2 10g. I bought the iron stands from petsmart that will hold a 20g on top, and has the space under it for a 10g on bottom. I have two of those stands.
I may look into one of those for my 55g.....hmm may be able to get those oscars after all....but then where will i kee all of my aquarium supplies?? Everything is stored under the 55g. *starting to redesign the living room.....again...* |
