What a surprise!
A while ago, a few of my female guppies had fry. I put them all together and now, a few months later, they are getting their color. Well one of the females was a pretty little silvery one with two white stripes on her tail (one top one bottom). She died a long time ago (right after having her fry) and now 3 of the fry started getting those same colors...and then some. They have some black spots on their bodies, a faint redish streak and white stripes on their tail just like the female did. They tails don't look the "normal" curved shape of my others. After some research I found the double swardtail guppy...and they look just like young ones! Could it be that these are that I have?!?

Congratulations. You might have the double swordtail guppies. Without pics it is hard to tell.
