been told its a polka dot catfish but on google a polka dot looks smaller then ours does aka slimmer body

Doesn't look like it has enough spots especially on it's head to be a syndiodontis petricola. And no white tips on it's fins.

Looks alot like a Synodontis Longirostris. Definitely appears to be from the Synodontis family.

I cheated, and looked it up online. Looks to be the Dwarf S. Petricola. Virtually the same fish as the standard, a little smaller, slightly different spot pattern.

no they look too small that fish in pic is about 5 inch and about 2 inch tall
