So yesterday I nearly started a topic asking 'how do I know if my discus have paired' with this pic ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1456737421.707434.jpg tonight I need to ask a different question, what do I do now ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1456737472.908265.jpg also is there any physical differences that define male and female eg: the blue 1 now has bump in front of its pelvic fin, does that make her the female??

I wouldn't know how to tell genders, but the bump is most likely a breeding tube. If you observe them, then you can see them lay eggs from the breeding tube. The male has one too, but it really doesn't protrude out so far and it is smaller. They look really good, good luck!

Well ... I just found out that I have a breeding pair of discus as well last night to bad there eggs were eaten my the morning but i found that the Geometry method works quite well..

A new method for sexing discus

hope this helps
