I found one lonely dead fry in my community tank. It was bigger than a guppy fry. Clear with maybe a stripe. Any ideas?

Balloon mollies, mollies, guppies, mickey mouse, ....mickey mouse would have been orange....balloon mollies would have had a big belly... would that orange mollie made a different color baby?

Well if the fish were mixed with other color varients, there's no telling what the result is. I would say one of your mollies. Platies are solid colored. Balloon mollies like you said would have a round belly.

They r all close! However they all still look preggo. Only saw one baby so far! Sure don't want them ate!

Balloon Mollies won't always have a big belly, remember I had that fry that I thought was a guppy baby for the longest time? Just keep an eye on the females. my vote is still with the Molly, she should be getting close to having her second drop soon

By the looks of it, I would say that it is a balloon belly. I have had balloon bellies give birth, and it takes a few weeks for their large tummies to become noticeable...
