Why do my guppies giving birth keep dying?

Okay so yes, I know how to tell when guppies are pregnant and ready to give birth. I had two guppies giving birth, one a few days ago, and one yesterday. I have two guppy tanks, and I put the one from a few days ago in my 'birthing tank' which is a 5.5 gallon with a heater and everything it needs for a tank. I tested the water, and everything looked good, but when I woke up in the morning she was dead. Two days ago I noticed one was giving birth, so I moved her, and she died in the morning. I already have fry in the other tank, and another prego in it too. Why do u think they died??

The fist one didn't even have one fry, and the second one had three before dying.

Oh we'll I guess I can't help u on that but guppies commonly die after about fry 25

Sounds like you are doing things correctly. Perhaps moving the expectant mom to the breeder tank sooner might help. Are the conditions in the breeder tank pretty identical to the main tank?

Yep. Everything's the same. I had the mum in there about 2 days BEFORE she was boxy, but still died.
