I got two fire mouth cichlids a few weeks ago and recently one of them laied eggs on a plant bulb (that never sprouted..). The fish grabbed the bulb full of eggs WITH ITS MOUTH and pulled it behind a rock so I couldnt see it. IS THIS NORMAL!?!?

Now the eggs have hatched and these cichlids do yet another amazing thing! I went to look at them behind the rock and the mother fish (im guessing its the mother) had dug a little pit in the sand and put all the babies in it! Every day they are in a diffrent place in the sand. Today she seems to have moved them AGAIN.

I think I'm over reacting, but thats just amazing!
