yellow lab question
hi guys got a mother in a tank with 9 babies about 3/4 inch long now,the problem is the mother decided to take a hold of one of them and has been holding the baby in her mouth for about 3 days now,is this normal?or will the baby die because its not getting fed

She is just feeling protective of the fry. Let her be for about a week or so. If she hasn't released the single fry you may need to strip it out of her. It's not a tramatic experience as long as it is done correctly and quickly. And since it is a single fry, it won't take longer than a few seconds.
