2004 AquariumAdvice.com Photo of the Year contest

This will mark our first photo of the year contest, the idea here is for the winners of the photo of the month contest to go head to head for top honors. For this first year, there will be a twist, we will accept entries specifically for the photo of the year contest. Out of the submissions 8 photos will be selected, by fishfreek and me, to go up against the 12 photo of the month entries. There will be 20 photos up for the photo of the year. There will actually be two contests, one for Saltwater photos and one for Freshwater photos. Winners of these contest will be awarded prizes.

If not for the generosity of the members here and the recent number of donations...these prizes would not be possible, the staff of AquariumAdvice.com thanks all the members for this.

A few ground rules...
1) Winners of the POTM contest during the year 2004 are not allowed to submit new pics for consideration, as you already have an entry or entries you may not submit new pics.
2) All the rules for the POTM contest will apply to the POTY contest, those can be viewed >>here<<.
3) If you win, you must claim your prize, you will be pm'd that you have won, if you do not respond to that pm in 30 days, your prize will be forfeit.
4) We will accept new entries for the contest starting right now until Thurs Dec 23rd at midnight EST, the polls will go up some time christmas day and will run until the new year, the winner will be crowned photo of the year on Jan 1st 2005.

So what are you waiting for?? If you have not won a photo of the month contest...send us a pic for consideration. You may pm your photo entry to fishfreek or reefrunner69, if your photo is too large for upload to the forum, but within the contest limits...you can pm one of us for an email address to send it to.
