I noticed one that wasn't on the list that is used very often is QT.

I wonder what PAR stands for...in regards to lighting in a planted tank. I can't find it anywhere. Just the abbreviation.

Photosynthetically active radiation in reference to measuring light.

The higher the par measurement, the more usable light that is available for your plants to conduct photosynthesis.
