MTS can mean 3 things. That's why sometimes, these aronyms get confusing.

Malaysian Trumpet Snail, Mineralized Top Soil, and Multiple Tank Syndrome.

How about BB? For me it has always meant bare-bottom, as in a tank run without substrate. However I know see it being used over and over again in cycling threads to refer to bacteria somehow?

Seems like folks have been using it to refer to Beneficial Bacteria. It's new to me, but I guess it works.

Ah thank you, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what that second "B" stood for.

To find the list from any page on the forum, click "FAQ" on the navigation bar (the one that begins with Forums, User CP, etc.). Click on "Acronyms and Abbreviations" at the bottom of the screen, and then on "Commonly used abbreviations on Aquarium Advice" at the bottom of the screen. You'll be taken to the acronym list.

At this time the acronyms do not appear in a pop-up window as you hover your mouse over them in the text. We realize that was a popular feature in the old phpBB software but as the forum was migrated to the new vBulletin software, that feature was lost. If it is possible to restore that feature in this software, we will install it as soon as possible.
I would live to see the acronyms, but the link above takes me to the "Forums" heading. I didnt see a FAQ on any of the forums. Sorry I must be doing something wrong.
