Aquarium Advice FINatic
Hi,
Because of my background in fish taxonomy, I mainly come on this site to help out with identifying fish (and sometimes other odds and ends). I feel accurate identification is important if hobbyists are to stand any chance of tracking down reliable information on keeping their critters. At the moment it is easy enough to contribute on the marine side as there is a forum category allocated for it (even though the description suggests identification of odd critters that come in live rock, posters still put their fish identification questions there). However, there is no such category for freshwater fishes. Mostly people post under the general discussion category, or under the cichlid category (even though the fishes often aren't cichlids - such as a Mogurnda enquiry I answered a little while back). Is there any chance that a "freshwater identification" category could be added?
Thanks,
Tony
