how are the other forums linked with this one??

i just wanted to ask really quick if anybody has been involved with the other forums linked to this site? especially the reptile forum? my wife had got into a reptile forum and they all treated her rude, and also gave advice that i personally know is bad advice. i did some research and found that there is a reptile forum affiliated with this one, and being how much i enjoy everybody here i thought that maybe the reptile one would be worth both hers and my time. any thoughts would useful. thanks
