i would just like to say this site is great!
i view your photo gallary all the time. and i see all these great pictures.
i have a 4 maga pixal digital camara. and a tank i would love to show you guys. but i have a 4x96 watt pc light and it shows a horrible glare and all you can really see is the light off the tank.
my question is how do you guy take such great pics?
if you take them with a digtial cam. what do you set your setting to?
thanks michael

Take your pics from an angle so the flash isn't bouncing back at you. Also, if you have a closeup setting on your camera, that will help.

See the Showoff/Photography forum for helpful posts on taking pics of our tanks. most of us dont use the flash. When it comes to uploading the pics the site help/feedback forum will have useful info on how to add images to both the posts or the photo gallery.

In addition you can use a hosting service like the one in my sig if you would prefer to upload and share images larger than 250KB in size.

cool sounds great. i will try that ! i dont use my flash on the tank because i have my light on. god knows thats bright enough lol.
thanks for the help!
