Is there a way to see new posts like on a computer, when you hit the new posts button?

Idk about the computer version, but I just press the current button on the bottom and it shows the ten most current threads. (also use iPhone )

That would be a really nice feature! A current threads button on the computer version. Or a subscribed threads button.

Is the current button the same thing as "New Posts"?

Pretty much... but it doesn't hide those that you've already viewed... it's just the most recent threads.
