I filled in all I could see it wanted, but it still won't let me edit my avatar. The account was activated. What do you think it is?

It may be that the avatar is too large. When you attempt to upload it, do you get an error message at the top of the window?

I tried to pick from the gallery, but it says I need to enter the required info.

We recently upgraded the site and uploading avatars from the gallery seems to have an issue or two. You can upload an avatar from your computer until this issue is corrected.

Yes this is an issue that was brought to our attention a few days ago and is on our list of fixes.
