New features

There have been some new features put into place over the last few days. I will list them here.

Under the FAQ section you can now see how the user ranks are layed out. How many posts to get to what rank.

New search features.

• You will see a number in () beside the view new posts. This number is the number of new posts since your last visit.
  You can also do a search on posts within the last 24 hours. This search will include a short smple of the message text
  Finally you can do a search in a specific forum by clicking on the search box in that forum.

Users may upload image files via the attachment feature
Additional smilies are in place just click View more Emoticons

Thats a brief list. I could go on but I done forgot some of them. Well anyway.

Oh, forgot two of my most fav addons

The E-mail a friend and the Print topic buttons. If you see a topic you think a non member would find helpful use the E-mail a friend feature. Or if you want a more printer friendly and less graphic version of the thread go for the Print topic button.

Unfortunately, I am old and can't find my glasses , could you draw me a map to these features

if you go to the main site and click on the "fourms" link to the side

You will get a full page of just the message boards. Look over to the right side just above where the message board starts.

You should see 4 search options.

View all new posts (#)
View my posts
View last 24 hours
View unanswered posts

Or you can click on the search button in the top and specify your search. Or if your in a specific forum like "The Lounge" if the same right side toward the top is a search box. Any text typed in that box will be searched in that specific forum only.

Kind of cool huh?

Oh I the color bar that is on the post page is an enhancment also There are so many enhancments but most of them are very suttle

NEW FEATURE ON MAIN PAGE!

I was working on this yesterday and just now got it working.

CHeck the first page out just under the latest messages section. There is now a NEWS box. This box gets updated thru the day automaticly with news feeds from

I would like a link to the forum page. I use the search feature on that page mostly when surfing the forums. But once you use the feature, you have to go back to the home page to get there, I'd like to see a link to it that is common to every page, or alternatively, put those search features on every page
