There is an issue with the paste function in the chat applet. Lately, the functionality of pasting anything has disappeared. It makes it really difficult to point folks to links, or for folks to share threads they are looking for insight on.

You can copy 'n paste from within the JAVA window, but nothing from outside.

being the super genious that I am... I figured it out. Copy/Paste only works with java version 6.15.... anything higher is a no go.
Ok, it wasn't me that figured it out. somebody tested it, and that happens to be the version I use... which has worked forever.

I talked to the technical staff and they informed me that the next Java update (whenever it comes out) should fix this issue.
