Please help with Avatar resizing

I finally got some help sort-of fixing my printer so I could scan the picture I wanted for my Avatar. Problem is, I can't get the size right. I downloaded the link on resizing, but still can't get it right. Having slow dial-up doesn't help a bit. I tried to make the scan 80x80 pixels and thought it would fit when transferred, but as you can see, it is sadly wanting in size.

Please help me...I don't have the technical knowledge.

Scan it full size and post it, either myself or someone around here can resize it for you.

It wouldn't take it full size...which isn't big...it is only 4"x6" and the white showing is actually the printer itself where the picture was being scanned. But I will try again right now. BTW...I couldn't find an icon anywhere on my computer showing the resizing feature...Hate dial-up.

OK, Neilanh, finally got the right one...always say I need to rent-a-kid for a day...problem is there are none in my area that do computers.lol.
