Private messaging problems

I sent out a pm to someone yesterday and it's still sitting in my out box. Why? I was trying to reply to Voodoo Chili and it's still in my out box.

Some systems will show it in the out box until it's read by the recipient. Don't know about this forum but that could be it.

Tell the recipent to read their PM's.

Since our site sends the text of PM's in the e-mail way to often folks hit reply and type a message back to me. Most of the time I delete it. But along the same lines folks will get the PM notification and read the text and then go send you a message while possibly never acutally clicking on the PM in the inbox. THus the forum never knows the PM was read.
