Request for AA App on the Amazon Appstore

I currently own a Kindle Fire and am unable to install apps from through the regular Android Market. Is there anyway you could publish your app to the Amazon App Store? It would require no additional programming since the Fire runs Android and the Amazon App Store is designed for Android Apps. I am not sure about the fees or publishing process, however I did find this link that may be helpful.

I too hope it can be done. I have a pandigital supernova8 tablet and I can download from amazon's app store , but, not from the android market.
