Sorry about the outage
The outage that lasted approximatly 8 hours was caused by the main disk filling up on the server. We store our backup files there and as you can expect a single backup of our site takes several gigs of storage. I usually purge only but the last few weeks worth of backups but it had been nearly a month since my last purge so it filled up at midnight when the backup process starts.
