Threads "double posting"?

At least a dozen times today, I have clicked "submit" on a post, and it brings me to the page that says "you must wait 30 seconds between posts." The first couple times I thought I may have clicked it twice or something. I am now convinced there is some kind of issue going on. I click submit once, my reply posts, but it takes me to the "wait" page as if I tried to post twice.

EDIT: It has happened both with my iPhone and my PC, so I am thinking it is not a hardware issue.

I get it too if I take a while writing a response or get sidetracked while responding.
