Topic Bookmarks makes its return
The ability to set bookmarks for specific topics is back by popular demand. Those whom used the feature in the past are lucky that the new version was compatible with the old in that your old bookmarked topics are still listed as bookmarks. With this version there is also some 'enhanced' usability when using the FireFox browser. If you use the Firefox browser you can install this plugin cmOnsiteNavigation Toolbar. What it will do for you then is put a toolbar at the top of your browser. Your 10 most recent topic bookmarks will be listed in a drop down menu. Since these bookmarks are stored on our server they will be available from any computer that use use firefox on vs having fixed bookmarks on a single computer.
You can also do some site basic site navigation with the toolbar. For those of you whom may not have used the bookmark feature in the past this is what it does and how it works. If you visit a topic you feel you want to reference later and you dont want to 'watch' the topic you can click the Set bookmark link and it will be stored on the server in assocation with your username as a bookmarked topic. At that point you can visit from any computer the bookmarked topic listing by logging in and then on the home page under your username on the right click the "View My Bookmarks" link. From there you can view all the topics you have bookmarked and remove bookmarks if the topics have no more value to you. In addition you can set to have a NEW topic bookmarked when you post it by picking the "Set a bookmark for this topic" check box on the posting screen. If you automaticly want ALL topics you start and/or reply to set with a bookmark you can also do this by editing your profile.
