Two New Sub-forums at Aquarium Advice

We are pleased to announce the creation of two new sub-forums:

Cichlid Discussion, a sub-forum of Freshwater and Brackish: General Discussion, and

Nano Reefs, a sub-forum of Saltwater Reef Aquaria.

Feel free to post questions pertaining to both African and South American cichlids in the Cichlid Discussion sub-forum.

All questions and thoughts pertaining to small reef tanks are welcome in the Nano Reefs sub-forum.

We hope you will enjoy these new sub-forums! They are operating on a temporary trial basis. If they are utilized, they will become a permanent part of the forums at Aquarium Advice. If they are not used regularly, they will be removed after a trial period. Hopefully these two new sub-forums will become an enjoyable and helpful aspect of your Aquarium Advice experience!

Just a quick comment on what would be classified as a nano (ie small) reef. Nano's tanks that typically have an empty water volume of 20 gal or less. There are extreme nanos of 5 gal or less.

In addition to clarify on the trial basis. These forums will exist for a period of 30 days in their trial basis. If after 30 days we feel there is ample traffic (new topics and replys) in those subforums to merit their continued existance they will continue as a perminante fixture here at AA. If after the 30 day period we feel there is not ample traffic in those forums the topics in those forums will be moved to the parent forum and the subforum removed.
