55 gallon community/ south american ciclid tank. Aquascape ideas?


Last time i posted here I was asking what the green stuff on the side of my 10 gallon guppy tank was! Ive come a long way.

This is my 55 gallon community/ south american ciclid tank.

it is only like 3 weeks old so let me know how i am doing.
Aquascaping ideas are VERY welcome.

Ill upload more pictures as I can.

Wow, it looks great. Just needs some more plants to gill it out some and maybe some more driftwood if you can.

a really simple thing you could do for almost no money is add a background. I like black background myself but with your dark substrate and beautiful organge coloring in your fish you could use a warm orange color?

It's cheap, it hides the filters, and really helps keep the focus in the tank.

Nice tank. Needs background. Simple sheet of aluminum foil is an inexpensive solution. Looks like you have a severum and some harlequins in there. Get some tall plants to enhance the depth. Jungle Vals are good for that.
