My 10L Dennerle

Hi,

I've got this dinky Dennerle 10L nano tank that ive been using for aquascaping experiments.

Here are some of the results.

looks great... I must admit, I have no idea what that 'horn' thing is on the upper left side of the tank. What is that?

Hi,

In the earlier pictures...

That is a CO2 drop checker. It tells me that the CO2 in the tank is in the target range.

Light green is 30 ppm CO2.
Yellow is above 30ppm and too much.
Blue is below 30 ppm CO2 and too little.

You can use tank water and a few drops of the reagent to use the test but this can give false results due to other buffers in the water so it is best to use a KH 4 solution which you can buy from good aquarium supplier.
