Savetoki hears surf in the shell
Need help with plant id

I was at my LFS lookng for a plant with red/brown hues when i came across this plant. They didnt know the name of it but i bought it anyway. Any help on the name?

Some kind of rotala? Leaves don't look fine enough to be rotundifolia but maybe? High light and low N levels can give many species of rotala a nice deep red hue.

yea, i was thinking it was some kind of rotala, closest thing ive found that it looks like is rotundifolia indica. thank you for the reply and welcome .

It kind of looks like R. rotundifolia but the lower leaves look awfully long. Another thought would be Ludwigia arcuata. Try checking plantgeek.com for pictures that you can compare your plant to.

Thank you newfound for that great site, i did some more searching on the rotala genus and found this is probably a narrow-leaf rotala magenta.
