Not only healthy plants, but some very tricky species to make look good. The tank looks incredible. Outstanding work

Ok, I will add you to the list of those who are able to grow marvelous and healthy plants, keep a pretty good looking 'scape and simply refuse to see how great they are doing.

You need not feel guilty about suffering from "collectivitus", most of us suffer the same thing. I believe it's caused by actually caring more about the plants; almost similar to our pets. We also hate to constantly stir up the mulm.

Just food for thought.

Yours is one of the tanks that inspired me to plant my tank in the first place. Really, really, beautiful.

I think you are doing a nice job with it. I do understand though always wanting to do something different. I am contemplating tank #2 now for that reason. I am not 100% sure what to do to make tank #1 complete though.

I am sure you will always want to tweak it here and there. I think that is part of the fun of it. It is a natrually evolving process.

Nice work though...I always love looking at your tank.

Thanks, but pictures really don't do the neglect as well as it should.

I haven't taken any pics lately due to masses of algae growing on everything and almost all my plants have lost most of their leaves.

I tried everything to figure out what was wrong, but after about two weeks of this, I finally figured out it was my light bulbs needed changing.

I would have never imagened that one week all was great and the next everything went down hill very fast.

The tank is finally growing back to where it was, but it will take some time to fill back in.

I will post some pics tomorrow on the progress.

Here is my favorite species: Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Cuba'

Here is my newest planted tank, my 46 gal bowfront: (3 WPG, no CO2, lightly dosed) I moved all my fast growers to this tank.
