Yup! You guessed it right.... Black Tahitian Moon sand! Very nice... LOL... But yeah, I wanted to try it with these cichlids. I have heard that they would do very well in a tank with soft substrate! So, I put some sand in there with them! They LOVE IT!

Hey there! Finally got time to check out your tanks. I LOVE bow fronts. I also like the substrate in your 36g, is that Black Tahitian Moon sand? Whatever it is, I like it!
