- wife has a 55 gal i have a 5 gal w/ 2 Polypterus 1 is 4" other is 3" or so my first polypteres was eaten by my wife's 5"oscar being new to this type of fish I am trying to learn as much as possible about them, would really like to know what to feed right now they are eating freeze dried blood worms also what temp to keep water at so they will stay healthy and happy. Hopefully I will be getting a 10 or 20 gal at a later date, hopefully before they outgrow this one. If I have to I can put them in my wifes 55 gal but these are mine next to my computer hutch so I can watch them, any advice would be greatly appreciated
