My aquarium is 12 weeks old now, and I have consistently had a problem with ammonia. The guy at the fish store told me to add a little bacteria from a bottle every other day. I started doing this last week. Now I cannot see through the water in the aquarium because it is so cloudy. There are 3 guppies in the water, and they seem quite happy, but I am not happy with the water. I added a second filter a few days ago, but that hasn’t helped so far. I have also replaced a few gallons of water (15 gallon column tank) to try to dilute the cloud, but did not help either. I am at a loss. What can I do?

Your neon looks to columnaris..It is not fuzzy as that would be a fungal infection.
I have a better link ,but it is rather long winded...
