Is coming home with me! Hope he don't eat my shrimplets... It's a chance I'm willing to take to have him :)

He's beautiful. Was he being kept in good conditions?

Thanks! No, he's your typical 1/2 cup of water at Walmart kind of Betta. I had to take him home! He certainly wasn't the most beautiful but he had that look on his face... You know..... The one that makes you go awwwwwww poor lil fella!!!

Very pretty!!! Yea I didn't really have a spot for him... It was an impulse but as I felt bad for him. I had to put him in my fry/RCS tank. I was worried about how they would get along but everything is great :) the fry are moving out to a larger grow out tank today so it's just gonna be him and some shrimp and snails in there :)

Hahahaa! I totally understand now! I usually avoid them but yesterday I was weak! I wanted to save a female to but I didn't know if they would get along, gotta do my research! Here is a pic of him this morning, he has really brightened up!!! He wasn't this red yesterday! Hopefully that's a good sign?! is his fins supposed to be jagged like that???

I wouldn't put a male and female together unless breeding and even then I wouldnt keep them together.

Ok, don't really want babies at all... Got enough fry to worry about... Maybe I can put a female in with my cories??? Are you supposed to keep females alone or can you keep more than one female in a tank???
