New 40g breeder

Ok so, the dollar per gallon sale was too tempting. I bought one and now would like some suggestions on what to put in it. I am wanting a single species tank for breeding. My water out of the tap leans toward Africans. Some kind of dwarf species is what I`m thinking. Open to all suggestions and thanks in advance.

Which lake, what's available to you? Dwarf mbuna or a smaller/relatively mellow species of peacock like ruby reds from Malawi. Big enough for a large colony of Tanganykian multi's if you toss in dozens of escargot shells, or J. transcriptus or L. buescheri if you prefer rock dwellers. There are also some Victorian species that would work in a 40 breeder. I have some yellow rock kribs available (and shipping supplies) if you want something different.
