hey are kept in my LFS w/ some LR :?:

I've heard they grind their teeth on LR. If that's true, I doubt there's any problem except damage to the LR.

that's not much of a problem considering they should grind their teeth down.... similar to rabbits, they're teeth keep growing... from what I've read.... right!!! (reefrunner, steve S. please help  ) I'm not excluding anyones input, I'd love to hear from anyone with an educated opinion. (Thanks Guage  )

Forget the rock, I've wanted a trigger since I was 10 :!: Any detrimental effects to the trigger i would respect.

Nope. Most don't suggest keeping triggers in a reef for the safety of the inverts, lots of people keep them in FOWLR tanks, with no problems.

I used to keep a clown trigger in with LR.... with no adverse affects to the fish. as a matter of a fact, he loved to sleep behind and under the rocks.
