All four of our fish love blanched zucchini. We have two Platys and two Otos. But they do eat the biofilm. Adding the zucchini once a week allows the film to grow because they seem to prefer veggies....

So things had stabilized with the princess tank until the past couple of weeks when my ghost shrimp started dying off.

I had four in my 10 gallon for months until I added the AC30 power filter....

I think you would be happier with just the back. You are probably just trying to make it where you don't see wires and tubing behind the tank and there won't be any there.

Oh, and I have been testing every day since the change just to be sure. No increase in ammonia or nitrite. However my nitrate did did rise some so I did my water change a couple of days early.

Awesome! I would much rather have the extra filtration and my Marineland hood has a large enough cut out to fit the AC30. I wasn't sure how far you could restrict the flow.

Thank you. I do not have well water and I guess it could be chloramine. I don't think those tests tested for that. I have added the extra Prime to my tank and I will use 1 mL with every future water...
