Some of the bigger Rainbowfish or might be good. I wouldn't put an Angel with fast nippy fish, but that's my opinion.

A single RTS might be ok in a large tank. He'll guard his territory, but some are ok except for that. Others are nasty.

Well they seem hard to find. Fairly expensive and they get 2" and one site says they are "Intermediate" level fish. Min tank size is a 10g which usually means larger is better. I would skip them....

Most C julii btw are actually C trilineatus. Often mislabeled.

Do not get intake too close to sand, sand kills filters. If you gravel vac above the sand and swirl you can get detritus out. My plants use most fish poop.
