Wife got this from a fellow reefer friend. He claimed it was a leather coral. Im a bit suspicious considering it looks nothing like the leather corals i pull up on google. Any ideas? Or am I...

My cycle is done, and ive had fish and coral in...

My cycle is done, and ive had fish and coral in it for the last few months. Keeping the lights off would effect my coral wouldnt it. Im also running gfo and carbon...so my nutrients are farely low...

Red Algea??

There is some red algea coming off my rock and sand...it spreads quickly no matter how much i syphon it out. My LFS said its the later part of the cycle...and not to worry, it will go away on its...

Emerald Crab?

At first i would say this is an emerald crab, but his legs are very hairy and i dont recall putting one in this size. Emerald crab? Or nuisance crab?

There are also a bunch of sharp jagged areas on the rock, idk if that may b an issue with him being able to move. The entire rock was acclimated after i bought it.

New Coral?

Bought this coral the other day and forgot what it was called as well as the needs of it...does anyone have a name for it?...it hasn't opened yet so I'm not sure of the lighting requirements.

Flame dead incased in white film

I noticed my Flame Angel was missing n I found him dead incased in a white film bubble. Is this bubble the natural process....or do I have a white bubble preditor
