Not quite sure what an ivory snail is ([acronym:2433c58079="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:2433c58079] I hate snails so excuse my ignorance). I do know some types of snails will "hibernate"; mystery snails are known for it. They'll go dormant for a while.
