With schooling fish, 6 is usually considered the minimum that you should have.

You could add a background. Also could try an actinic light would look cool with your dark substrate. Also some plants. I like java ferns and cabomba plants personally.

Yes I've had success with java ferns in the crappiest of light. Maybe 2 more neons and a dwarf gourami..

oh sorry i missed that! maybe some bottom dweller action? A couple of kuhli loaches or you might even be able to fit 4 julii cory cats....

It looks good! Maybe some fake plants for now, until you get better lighting, then just replace them when you want to get more complex. You'd be amazed at what a bit of greenery can do for a tank!

how about crayfiish? or wll he nom on my tetras im willing to sacrafice a galon or two to makke a land area to have this awesome crabs iil post a link ina sec

I have fiddlers but they need brackish water. Also they need more land than water. When I first started keeping them I had them in freshwater and they die quickly. I have a blue crayfish that I keep in his own tank because they are too territorial and so large they can easily eat your fish. In my community tank I do keep 2 CPO's (dwarf patz) these are dwarf crayfish that don't get any larger than a couple inches. They are bright orange and just beautiful and are pretty peaceful with the fish as long as there is plenty of hiding spaces. I keep lots of colorful dwarf shrimp as well...that's another freshwater invert you could keep with your fish :)

i knew fiddlers needed brackish n land but wasnt sure how much land...mabye il set up a 5g tankk for fiddlers? ive tried ghosts with no luck bought 15 of the shrmp they got eatin within 3 days what other inverts would be a goood cool option i wish there were fw star fish

There are some really cool spider like critters called thai micro crabs but I can never find them for sale. If your fish are bothering dwarf shrimp then they'd probably bother dwarf cray too. Prob not any freshwater inverts compatible with your tank :( Who's eating them, the DG?
